Poetry and performance by our witty compere for the evening.

Learn the fast paced flicks, kicks and twists of the original style of jive dancing from the 50’s (as seen on Strictly Come Dancing). No partner needed!

Take a trip back to the roaring 1920’s as you learn the vintage dance moves that were once danced by the immoral flappers! The ragtime-jazz music is infectious and you won’t be able to stop smiling as you learn the quirky and witty Charleston steps, including grannies knee caps, the hitchhiker and the shoe shine!

Burlesque in Motion!
Saturday 9th June saw Motion Club transform into a beautifully embellished cabaret scene complete with intimate lighting and table service. Having successfully sold all 200 tickets and having received outstanding reviews, Motion is considering making this event a regular occurrence, starting with several shows this Christmas! I know, I can’t believe we are talking about the C word right now either, but what an event that’ll be!
