The Showgirl Academy brings a very unique dance class to Bristol with this ‘Broadway & Fosse Jazz Class’. This class is suitable for dancers with some previous dance experience. It will be taught at an Intermediate level.
Learn to jazz dance to your favourite musicals including: Chicago, Dancin’, Cabaret, Sweet Charity and more! New technique and choreography taught every week by professional dancer Lianna Bennett of The Flaming Feathers.

The Flaming Feathers are on fire as they bow to a standing ovation at their very own variety show in Bath on Saturday 11th February 2012.
Following a world wind of success in the last year with performances booked at festivals, cabaret evenings, weddings, charity events and corporate celebrations The Flaming Feathers really have come on leap and bounds since starting out as a 4 man troupe in March 2011, expanding to the highly professional and classically trained 10 beautiful dancers they are today.
The Flaming Feathers Variety Show with singing scarlet Ms Laura Mai opened with a classic Burlesque number to ‘Welcome to Burlesque’ followed by a wide variety of vintage dance forms from Charleston, Tap, Jive, Fan Dancing, Ballet with a Burlesque twist and of course not forgetting a fabulous high kicking Can-Can for the finale!

Following your burlesque masterclass with a professional dancer and burlesque performer, you will then be able to try your hand at vintage cocktail making, with the very best in the business.

Venture back to the 1920’s and travel through the decades to the 1960’s whilst learning a feast of vintage dance styles.
Learn the knobbly knees quirky style of the 20’s Charleston, then the infectious kicks of 30’s/40’s swing dancing. Pick up the pace even more with some twists and flicks of the 50’s jive (no partner needed!) and then save your last bit of energy for the psychedelic style that is 60’s go go dancing!
